Dan Mattix

Daniel Mattix

     Daniel Mattix enjoys a diverse career as a composer, conductor, pianist, church musician, and professor in the Chicago area. His compositions have been performed in thirty-one states, as well as in Australia, Canada, Italy, New Zealand, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Dan serves as the Director of Music Ministries at Western Springs Christian Reformed Church. He teaches a variety of classes at Moody Bible Institute, including Orchestration, Instrumental Methods, Exploring Music, and applied piano. Dan also owns Mattix Music Studio with his wife, Katie.

      At the University of Iowa, Dan earned the Master’s degree in Music, studying piano, conducting, and voice. He also earned the Bachelor of Arts degree in Music at Moody Bible Institute. Dan’s music is published by Santa Barbara Music Publishers, Hope Publishing Company, Fred Bock Music Company, and EasyChoirMusic.com. Darian Krimm

Darian Krimm

     Darian Krimm currently serves as the Director of Music and Worship Arts at First United Methodist Church in Jackson, TN, where he oversees the music ministry program and conducts both the Sanctuary Choir and the Prime Ringers. He is also the founding Music Director of Jackson's community choir, the Jackson Choral Society. Krimm received his Bachelor of Arts in music from Anderson University, and his Master of Music from East Carolina University.

     He is active as a soloist, composer, arranger, voice teacher, and handbell and choral workshop clinician. Krimm's compositions are published with Shawnee Press, Hope Publishing, and EasyChoirMusic.com. He is an active member of the American Choral Directors Association, Chorus America, and the United Methodist Fellowship. A native of Maryland, Mr. Krimm currently resides in Jackson, TN with his wife, Rachel, and is the proud father of two wonderful daughters.

Stephanie Taylor

Stephanie S. Taylor

     Stephanie S. Taylor has been writing and arranging music for vocals and instrumentals since elementary school. She knew in 3rd grade that she wanted to teach music. Her first public experience conducting was her 7th grade Junior High School choir concert. She has always been active in her church choirs as a singer and/or conductor. Stephanie attended the College of Mt St Joseph on the Ohio (now Mt St Joseph University) in pursuit of a music education degree as a voice major. After three years, she took a seven year hiatus. She, then, adjusted her major to Composition while attending Cincinnati Christian College and Seminary (now Cincinnati Christian University), earning an Associates in Worship Studies, a Bachelors and Masters in Church Music.

     While studying, Stephanie was the recipient of a Composition Contest Scholarship 3 years in a row. Stephanie has been teaching privately since 1980, and continues to hone her composition and arranging skills. She has been published by Easychoirmusic.com, Shawnee Press, Hal Leonard, and has many self-published pieces. She has written, in total or in part, a variety of musicals, including, but not limited to:
- The Cup (cantata)
- The Santa Fe Café (JB Miller’s EncoreProduction)
- Imagine! Mason- a bicentennial celebrationof Mason, OH (JB Miller’s Encore Production).

Stephanie is also involved in Dayton/Cincinnati NSAI songwriters group.
