Carl Nygard is a resident of Pennsylvania, whose conducting career has taken him to fifteen states, where he has led festivals and reading sessions. He is a graduate of West Chester University and was honored as an outstanding graduate in 1988. His choral music has been performed on six continents and has received numerous awards. He serves as a choral adjudicator, and still receives commission requests.
